Can I do one school assembly for my whole school?
Yes. Although we prefer to group students by development (K-3rd, 4th-6th, 6th-8th, High Schools), a school-wide assembly is a great way to bring Beats Lyrics Leaders to campus and engage a large group of students at one time.
How much do school assemblies cost?
Our assembly pricing depends on the length of the event, location, travel, and any special requests. Please contact us for a quote based on your school’s needs. Our local assemblies are 45 minutes long and cost $ 1,500 for the first assembly and $800 for the second same-day assembly.
What happens during a school assembly?
Students can expect an interactive, high-energy experience with music, participation, movement, and positive messages about creativity, confidence, and leadership.
Can the assembly be tailored for different grade levels?
Yes. We can adjust the content and energy to fit elementary, middle, or high school audiences.
What is a workshop?
A workshop is a hands-on experience where students or teachers participate more directly in creative activities, discussion, writing, performance, or movement.
Do I need to have equipment or materials for the class?
Usually, no. Students will need their Chromebooks available and we use the programs Bandlab and Incredibox, as well as Chrome Music. We bring the materials we need or work with what is already available on site. If anything special is needed, we will talk about it ahead of time.
Does the teacher need to be in the classroom when you teach?
Yes. Although we are trade Artists Residents, we do not have our teaching credentials and therefore cannot stay in the classroom alone. We ask that a classroom teacher or school staff member be present during all sessions for support and supervision.
